The Farm Cottages
There are three gorgeous farm cottages to choose from at Minimbah.
All towels and linen are supplied plus doonas, extra blankets and electric blankets. We leave a small stock of essential supplies such as coffee, tea and sugar etc as well as food in a container to feed the goats and alpacas and an egg basket to collect the fresh farm eggs.
Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave, cappuccino machine and a cook top oven. Each living area has a leather lounge, TV, dvd/video, and a CD player. There are fans to keep you cool in summer and heaters to keep you warm in winter. The Cottage and Old Homestead also have wood burner combustion fires and the Loft has an open gas fire. There is also a washing machine and clothes line for your convenience.
Being fully self contained accommodation, you can relax in privacy on the verandahs and gaze in amazement at the views, read one of the many books or magazines from the bookshelf or talk a relaxing walk through the many lush paddocks and rainforest gullies situated all over the large farm abundant in nature, wildlife and domestic animals.
By the creek there is another bbq area for you to use which is accompanied by fresh clear running water, the peaceful shade of she oaks and lovely green pastures.

The Old Homestead

The character filled & newly restored ‘Old Homestead’, is the property’s original 120 year old farm house, yet is our newest addition in holiday farm cottages at Minimbah.
The Old Homestead is fully self contained and private – approximately 200 metres from any other residence on the farm. It has three living areas, a lovely front verandah to soak up the views, main living room with leather lounges, tv with dvd/video player and a very efficient gas heater, a large eat-in kitchen with slow combustion fire, a main bathroom, a second toilet and laundry with large washing machine. Outdoors there is a large fenced yard, a gas bbq and a relaxing hot spa!
It sleeps up to thirteen in total and around eight comfortably. There are three bedrooms which consists of one king bedroom also with a day bed which can be made as a single or double (4), another king bedroom (2) a double bunk in the third bedroom with pull out trundle bed (3). Then there is a sofa bed that converts to a queen bed in the sun room (2) and an ottoman pullout queen bed in the lounge room (2) which makes a total of thirteen. Additional fold out beds can be supplied upon request.
The Loft

The two storey Loft is wonderfully quaint and rustic with the ever popular ‘loo with a view’.
The Loft has a great wrap-around verandah, easy to warm up living area, one bathroom with toilet and shower over bath and a second ’loo with a view’ outside.
It sleeps up to eleven in total and around seven comfortably.
There are three bedrooms which consist of one queen bedroom downstairs (2), one queen bedroom upstairs (2) two double bunks (4) and one single bed (1) in the open loft bedroom. Then there is a pull out queen sofa in the living area (2) makes a total of eleven. Also, if needed, we have another single fold out bed (1) which would make a total of twelve.
The Cottage

The cute Cottage is situated in one of the best positions on the farm with the most amazing views to ‘live for’.
There is a beautiful grass paddock directly in front of the cottage with uninterrupted views of the valley, mountain escarpments and the grazing of cows and alpacas. There is a wrap around balcony, log fire, wood bbq, large living area with kitchen, dining and lounge.
The Cottage has two bedrooms, can sleep up to eight in total and comfortably sleeps four. It consists of one queen bedroom (2), another second bedroom with two double bunks (4) and then there is a pull out sofa in the living area (2) makes a total of eight. Also, if needed, we have another single fold out bed which would make nine.
