Canoes can also be launched onto Lake Yarrunga at Tallowa Dam. Bring your own canoe, hire one for a half or full day or make it into overnight camping trip.

Alternatively take to the hills on a bush walk or trail ride to experience nature close up. Golf is available at the Kangaroo Valley Golf and Country Resort, tennis at the village courts behind the ambulance station and swimming in the community run swimming pool at Osbourne Park next to the village oval.
